ABOUT ME

Revolutionary at heart. Former researcher / unionist now working in the industry. My life has been characterized by moving and stays abroad and by visiting friends during their stays abroad and I honestly hope that my life will always be characterized by getting to know new places and people, by being able to keep in touch with the people I meet along the way and who are important to me and by infinite curiousity and openness.

I do believe that CS is about more than only hosting and surfing. CS is about making the world seem a little smaller, it is about not being a stranger, it is about feeling at home in places that you have never been to before. I try to live by theses ideas whenever I surf or host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost all of my CS experiences have been positive to say the least. Most of them were even more than that, they really restore my faith in humanity and human connection at times. I've hosted more than I surfed and I am really glad I met the travelers who crashed on my couch. Some of my hosts and surfers have become actual friends and I know that the next time we will be near each other, we will not write a CS message, but simply give each other a call.
