About Me

I'm a young woman who loves music and arts. Until 20 years old, I studied music and musicals. I like discovering, learning, trying new things, taking pictures, painting, singing, dancing, hiking, swimming, camping, biking and travelling.

I'm probably as much introverted as extroverted. I always enjoy meeting new people even if I'm sometimes shy at the beginning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got the chance to do some CS in Scotland in 2012; it allowed me to meet lovely people. CS is an amazing way to share experiences.

CS is a beautiful way of seeing life and meeting amazing people. I just love it. I'm eager to meet new CS people and hear all about their stories and trips.

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of different things such as traveling, painting, acting, reading, sharing experiences, going to artsy events, dancing, making friends, singing, listening to music, hiking, biking, camping, swimming, playing gameboards, doing some Reiki and learning new stuff every day.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have way too many different tastes in music, movies and books. I enjoy pretty much everything.

I am a big fan of old rock music: Queen, David Bowie, Simon and Garfunkel's, Pink Floyd, America, Bee Gees, Genesis, etc. I also like artists such as Damien rice, Adele, Patrick Watson, The Dear Hunter, The Paper Kites, Imogen Heap, Florence + the Machine, Alt-J, Sigur Ros, Olafur Arnalds, NightWish, TheDo, Muse, As Tall as Lions, Philip Glass, Gotan Project, Dry the River, Catherine Major, Pierre Lapointe, Camille, Ariane Moffatt, Lisa LeBlanc and many, many more.

Books: The Alchemist, L'insolente de Kaboul, White Tiger, The Power of Now

My favorite movies are Indiana Jones 1-2-3, Little Mermaid, Dr. Horrible Sing-along Blog, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, etc. And yes, I do love Disney. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking the Annapurna Circuit for 18 days last October and traveling around India for three months. It was an amazing adventure/challenge. Lots of things happened but I always found the best out of everything.

Teach, Learn, Share

We could try to teach, learn and share a few words of each other's language. I'm always amazed by the beauty and richness of other languages. As a translator, I'm also constantly curious to see/hear the differences and find out where various expressions may come from. We could also talk about music and travel for hours, go for a hike or a coffee/tea.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of things, I guess. We all have wonderful things to share. We could talk about music, travelling trips, movies, activities, experiences. Sharing our skills and stories.
