About Me

I generally like people and treat them with respect, it's not a hard thing to do now, is it?

I'm usually laid back, pretty chill, and I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories; I'm a good listener, so go on, shoot!
My English is pretty rusty now 'cause I haven't been using it for quite a while, but I believe we'll get along just fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been giving me the opportunity to meet really wonderful people, thus being able to learn a lot about the places they come from. I really enjoy seeing things through the eyes of others, and I also appreciate any insight that a local can give me about a place.

Interests

Documentary photography represents a huge interest for me, and that allows me to pay real attention to my surroundings and see something beautiful wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to jazz, blues, funk, soul, rock, electronic, ethnographic music and kinda everything that pleases my ears. If the vibe is good, then it doesn't really matter.

There are a lot of masters of cinematography, but I guess I can mention the first ones that come to my mind: Krzysztof Kieślowski, Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky, Wim Wenders, Béla Tarr, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, just to name a few.

Not a keen reader, but I keep stacking up books with the intention of reading them. Lately I've been reading books about visual arts, but I also enjoy writers like Samuel Beckett, Bohumil Hrabal, George Orwell, Feodor Dostoievski.
