Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing this summer as I backpack so I can really get a feel for the places I'm visiting and hopefully meet some really incredible people along the way. I've found from traveling before that the best way to get to know a place anywhere is through its people. I don't want to just be a tourist and I think one of the best ways to really get I touch with a place is through meeting its people!
