I was born in Warsaw Poland, educated in England , and now live in rural Manukau New Zealand just 5k from Manukau City, 15 k from AKL airport and 25k from downtown Auckland.

I studied Mathematics at St John's College Cambridge and Operations Research at Brunel University. I worked for British Gas from 1968 to 1994 with a 3 year gap 1972 -1974 working for a British computer company ICL.
In 1994 I went in a consulting capacity to New Zealand and have since retired but still do some consulting and try to look after my investment portfolio online.

seeing Nefertari's tomb in the Valley of the Queen's in Egypt
watching sunrise over Ankor Wat
walking the Milford track in New Zealand

playing bridge for New Zealand in the World championships
losing a fortune trying to develop the Ostrich industry in New Zealand.
