Overview
About Me
I am a musician and a school teacher. I live in a nice little town just outside of Austin, Texas. It's just me and my goofy, friendly Boxer/Pit Bull mix, Cole.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and exploring, and couchsurfing offers a simple and inexpensive way to travel and meet awesome people along the way.
Interests
Being a musician and an educator are the central things in my life. But I'm a big fan of walking/running, trying to keep up with my dog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen Carnaval in Salvador de Bahia, New Years Eve on Copacabana Beach, Cape Horn, the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, Glaciers in Norway, Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm also a pretty huge history nerd. I guess I have my father to thank for that. He taught history and is a big fan, too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a simple place in a simple town. It's about 30 miles from downtown Austin and 25 miles from the airport. Everyone drives through here on their way to Houston or to the beach. I live close to a lake and a state park. I'm ok in the kitchen, but always open to learning more. My dog will probably like you within 10 seconds of meeting you.
