ABOUT ME

My friends and family would say I am a very outgoing person. I love almost all out door activities and trying new things. I tend to have a very diverse group of friends from different backgrounds and ethnicities which I like because I feel that you learn a lot from others and about yourself when you reach out to new customs and traditions. I love to travel and that is why I am studying abroad in Aix en provence France for the semester. I am a journalism and media studies major with a focus in fashion public relations. I hope to be fluent in french someday and be able to work internationally for a media company. I love animals and have a cute little Maltese puppy back in California where I am from. I also play soccer and have been playing since i was 4 years old. I enjoy live music, concerts,sports, photography and have a great appreciation for art.

Interests

I mostly spend my time split between family, friends, church, sports and hobbies. I have two sisters and a brother who are all close in age to me and we get along very well. My sister is a dancer and I love going to see her perform in musicals. I like reading, running, playing soccer, watching sports, fashion, dancing and hanging out with my friends and enjoying each others company. I also enjoy cooking and have been doing a lot more of it with all the fresh markets in Aix every day. I have met some great people while traveling and love hearing everyone's story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say some of the moments that have left me awestruck have been the one's I have experienced being abroad in France. Everything about the culture, the people, the way of life, thinking and activities is so different than what I am used to and that's what I love about it. This is my first time to Europe so I'm soaking it all in but already I wish I could stay here. Unfortunately I head back to California in less than two months but I plan to make the best out of the rest of my time and make some friends along the way.
