About Me

I work part time as a office administrator 20 hours a week and am a at home mum our 7.5 year old daughter.
I have been with my husband Quintin and Rotorua is our home.
We have a large home to share with a room with a King Single or Queen Bed. Our home is set in a large garden and we have several family pets. So need to like indoor cat and dog that likes pats.
We have not hosted due to covid since 2020 feels like forever - so looking forward to welcoming you into our home.
Anything else please just ask.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I was married I spent a lot of time travelling and staying with friends, family or people that I met along my travels. I have hosted back packers before who were looking for a place to stay and last year hosted several lion fans. Love meeting people from around the world and sharing my home with them and can totally relate to how expensive accommodation can be when travelling and how nice it can be to have a nice bed and quite home to lay your head at night after a busy day sightseeing, working or travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listen to just about any kind of music - don't really have one style I enjoy over the other. But normally radio on easy listening.
Favourite movie 10 Things I hate about you and Dirty dancing (romance or drama movies)
Love to read anything that has a nice easy to read story line I can get lost in at night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To narrow it down is really hard - but guess for me it would have to getting to work on a tall sailing ship travel around the coast of beautiful NZ.
Also spent an amazing summer in Brevard, North Carolina at Gwynn Valley Summer Camp.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can show you my beautiful city of Rotorua. Offer home cooked meal, share with you my home and love of Rotorua NZ.

Time permitting or if I am not working can take you to see some of the off the beaten track sights or direct you on how to get to these gems. Also love to share in your culture and learn from you as well.

You will be looked after and my home will be your home away from home. You will be treated as others hosted me when I was away overseas, made to feel very welcome.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My home, good conversation, relaxing environment, nice comfortable bed, nice home cooked meal, hot shower, travel tips for NZ, best places to visit in Rotorua.
Friendship and a place to call home while in Rotorua. Happy to give key so come and go as you please.
