About Me
Hello! I am 21 years old, studying business at the University of Washington, and am studying abroad at Copenhagen Business School from August to December. I love to travel and am excited to explore Europe while I'm here!
I am very friendly and love to meet new people. I get along with practically everyone, though I can be a little shy at first. Just give me a few drinks and I'll be good to go...just kidding, but not really.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was introduced to couchsurfing by my sister, who has couchsurfed in many cities in Europe and has hosted a fair share of couchsurfers at her flat in Barcelona as well. When I first heard about couchsurfing, I was very skeptical because why would anyone ever offer up their home to a stranger for free? She assured me that it was safe and that she had done it plenty of times. I didn't believe her, though, until I had my first couchsurfing experience in Seville, Spain, which was wonderful mostly truly because of our hosts. The experience made me believe that people ultimately have good intentions and genuinely want to help each other. Couchsurfing is such a great way to meet people and to get to know a culture through its locals. I want to be more involved on couchsurfing and learn about all the kind-hearted people who offer up their homes to give others a good experience. Though I can't host anyone at the moment, I definitely want to give back and host in the future!
Interests
My undergraduate major is management information systems, so I know a bit about coding and programming. But my ultimate goal is to go medical school eventually, after working for a few years. I've taken all the biology, chemistry, and physics prerequisites for it, and so I love math and science and everything logic. I also love deep conversations about the meaning of life and other philosophical stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like EDM artists like Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Yellowclaw, and all that mainstream stuff. Also, hip hop, R&B, pop, and sometimes even country.
The only TV shows I watch are Game of Thrones and Grey's Anatomy (only started watching it because everyone always brings it up when I say I'm from Seattle). I just finished watching Breaking Bad and it was so good!
Some of my favorite movies are The Departed, Inception, the Titanic (anything with Leonardo DiCaprio), Mission Impossible, The Dark Knight, The Prestige, and Up.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hiked Huayna Picchu (the big mountain at Machu Picchu). And I've traveled to eight countries within a month while I've been here in Europe. That probably doesn't sound very impressive to all you in Europe since everything is so close, but it's a lot for me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about American culture? But you probably know more about it than I do because it seems that everyone in the world is more informed about the history, pop culture, and history of the U.S. than most Americans.
I can talk with you about politics and global affairs? I don't really know much about what's going on in the world, but I like to pretend that I do. And I love having spiritual and philosophical conversations that have no answers and could go on forever.
