About Me

I love meeting new people, discovering new places and listening to wonderful stories from around the world.

I am independent, considerate, and responsible. I don't see myself as good at expressing things, sometimes I just keep problems to myself. I'm willing to do much for people that I care about and always try to open my mind & heart for something new and dynamic.

I manage myself very well and could be a control-freak sometimes. That's why among things, I still learn how to be more laid-back and just enjoy everything at the moment, without thinking too much.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My dream is to travel around the world, explore exciting places and try new things I've never imagined. Most importantly, I want to have friends from each country I've visited.

I've been in several situations where I got to travel solo. I expect this solo traveling idea might come again so I guess it would be nice to have some local friends to show me some cool places in their city and share interesting stories about them. I also want to learn new culture & language and in exchange, I could tell you interesting things about Indonesia. And we could definitely exchange our travel experiences! I love to cook and I'm thinking to cook some Indonesian food (hopefully the ingredients will not be hard to find) to show my host some gratitude

I currently live with my parents in a suburb area around Jakarta. I also moved out of the house during weekdays (to stay closer to my office) so I won't be able to host

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I love classical music. I adore Bach, Mozart, and Vivaldi the most. I dream to watch live performance of Vienna Philharmonic, hopefully someday when I visit Vienna. I don't go to club, but my guilty pleasure is that I love the music Pitbull does

MOVIES
Anything that is not related to horror. I enjoy Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, and almost any romantic comedy you can mention.

BOOKS
I don't really read books except finance one (I have to due to my curiosity :D). But I enjoy reading biography a lot. By reading them, I always learn that behind every success there was a lot more painful things happened. God never want us to stop trying our best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I came studying in the UK with scholarship. Something that I consider a miracle even until now.

I watched a Formula 1 race in 2010 and realised afterwards that aside from the sounds (adore racing car sounds so much), television does a lot better.

I found out that leftie violinist are rare, since no one is willing to teach and that it's a destruction of harmony (from orchestral perspective). I play violin left-handed for 11 years now and still learning, but I survive

I studied engineering and worked in the field for 3.5 years before I decided to switch into finance. I received many rejections along the way and many people doubt me but I did survive. Now having pursued my master degree in finance, I believe I'm getting closer to my dream career

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in learning new language. Many of my foreign friends laughed everytime they listen to me speaking Indonesian. I could teach you some words and would like to know if you think the language is actually that funny :D

I love to cook. Would be great if we can exchange recipe. I specialise myself in Asian food so I think it would be a great exchange.

I'm not good at taking photos. So if you are good at photography, I would like to learn, maybe some basic skills, I'll never see myself as professional :D

The sound of any musical instrument is like a sanctuary to me. In my free time, I love making piano arrangements of movie/drama background songs I'm surely interested to listen to the music you play

What I Can Share with Hosts

Indonesian sincere hospitality :D

Asian food. And cooking some for you, of course :)

I'd love to discuss on current issues. I do not really update myself into news but it would definitely be challenging to
