Overview
About Me
I am an author, a director and a Liverpool Fan. Over the last decade, I have done a variety of things from working for a startup and digital marketing of brands like Sony SIX, Sony ESPN and NBA to joining the development sector. I was part of Gandhi Fellowship in Uttarakhand for two years where I worked on improving the quality of Education in Government primary schools. I have written a book that uses sports to inculcate life skills in school children. I am currently working to improve the sporting ecosystem in the country at a variety of levels!
I am an avid sports fan, when I say sports I mean a variety of sports - including winter and summer olympic sports and even those that are not a part of the same. Apart from that, I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of music and discussing philosophical questions.
I enjoy the experience f travelling, especially alone as it gives me the flexibility to do things my own way rather than being constrained by the group. I have travelled to a variety of places across the country and intend to continue this in the future as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I see Couchsurfing as a way to see places I visit by living with people around and not just as a tourist. Living with people from the area helps me see the place very differently and enjoy the place like I would if I lived there myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teaching children in a remote school in Uttarakhand and working for the development of the same village. Lived there for almost a year with very little electricity and no connectivity - neither by road nor by network coverage. Have also organised a co-ed cricket match to promote gender equality in the region.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to learning new things during my stay and as I've been working with a fellowship in a few remote villages in Uttarakhand, I've a few interesting experiences and stories to share.
Wouldn't mind cooking if needed as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
