Overview
About Me
I am a lawyer by profession and a knowledge seeker at heart. I discovered my love for travelling in 2014, where I spent a considerable part of the year in the mountains.
My interest in books is a life long romance. Someday, I will document the eccentricities of this glorious life. I work for an NGO combating human trafficking and modern-day slavery.
I am currently pursuing an MA in Development Studies, specializing in Peace and Conflict. This is a period of unlearning for me, that is equal parts challenging, exciting, sometimes painful and seemingly impossible at others...which leaves me with the responsibility to push my limits in our understanding of the world. I have passion, and my affection for travel is in many ways my reward to myself as an education which knows no boundaries drawing from the vast knowledge of people everyday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the simple reason that Couchsurfing turns the world into one big functional network of people and ideas being exchanged over a cup of chai or home-made chicken curry. Everyone is connected.
It has at once made people accessible on a more humane level. Whatever little experience I've gathered has taught me one truth for sure: We're not so different after all. I'm here to meet people, get to know them, be a part of their journey and exchange experiences that no book, journal, or school can teach.

Music, Movies, and Books
It would be unfair to choose a few. Movies are wormholes into the mind of it's creator(s).
Music makes me turn into an inter dimensional space goat, at times. That is the only way I can take the liberty of exercising my exceptional dance moves.
Last read: Catch-22 by Joseph Heller (finally managed to finish it, on the third go)
Currently reading: Epistemologies of the South by Boaventura de Sousa Santos
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned to travel alone. And realized, could be a master at it.
On an even more serious note, I chose to work in a field where victories are few and nights are endless. It has brought more peace and sunshine in my life than i could have imagined.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach. Will be overjoyed to learn. Humbled to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My perspective of life. It is evolving and borrows from several ideologies. But even more so, my adventures, successes and failures both of which become a source of bigger joys, endless rounds of debates and if the ingredients allow, maybe a home made dish.
