Overview
About Me
I’ve been a global citizen my whole life, with my first six years spent in rural Nigeria. Since then, I’ve lived in different places around the U.S. and Europe. I’ve chosen a career in international development that allows me to travel the world while making a difference. I’m so grateful for all the experiences I’ve had in various places and cultures and am a better person because of what I’ve seen during my time traveling. I have learned so much about myself and others. I’ve seen how privileged I am compared to so many people, which motivates me to give back. I’ve learned that, despite our differences, we are all the same; we want the opportunity to flourish, to have our basic needs met, to be healthy, to pursue our dreams. These things unite us in our humanity.
When I’m not traveling for work or fun, I’m trying to build a beautiful life in Oklahoma City. I bought a historic home two years ago and have been slowly renovating it. In my free time, I enjoy hosting gatherings at my house, baking, working in my garden, making flower arrangements, going to concerts, picnics in the park, and spending time with family and friends.
I have always appreciated other people opening up their homes to me when I have traveled. Now that I have my own place, I want to do the same!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love the community of people it represents and the way it connects cultures. I travel alone a lot, and sometimes it is nice to stay with locals who also love travel and are open to sharing about their experiences, opinions, and ideas. You get to know a place much better, and you make good friends along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music: Jazz, acoustic, indie, blues, classic rock, house, reggae.. live concerts are the best!
I don’t watch a lot of movies or TV, as I try to spend my time doing more productive things. However, I do enjoy indie films, international films, classic black and white movies, witty comedies, and adventure films.
I enjoy reading books on theology, faith, social justice, leadership, and personal growth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been to Pangong Tso, the highest saltwater lake in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share a clean and comfy bed, home cooked meals, and recommendations for things to see in OKC. I can offer great conversions about traveling around the world and my thoughts on current affairs, politics, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share great conversation about what I’ve learned from my travels, recommendations for places to visit, my help with cooking and keeping the house tidy :)
