I wanna see and do as much as I can. I want to shove myself past my comfort zone and go with what's given to me.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a general rule that I'll try everything at least twice. The first time for an initial reaction, and a second time to be sure my first time wasn't tainted in some way. If I don't like it either time, I'm done, but if the second reaction is different than the first, consider the first two times voided and start the process over again.

I met some super cool people through the Fortnightly Meetings in Brisbane, I met some solid people and developed some good friendships in Melbourne. Will be home in Metro Detroit soon and look forward to being a part of the traveller community back home,

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's time to explore this great, big, wonderful world we share.

I found out about CS when I was 19 and in the middle of that mid-university crisis of "how the hell am I supposed to decide my future when I don't even know how to call a taxi!?" I was riding the Megabus from Minneapolis to Chicago. To the random guy who struck up the conversation and led me in this direction, thanks. It might've taken 7 years, but I've made it. I'm doing it.

I like Detroit, red wine, and live music. I like bike rides, foreign films, and walking dogs. I like kids, swimming, and the sun on my face. I like farmers markets, antique stores, and art museums. I like dancing, swing-sets, and microbrews. I like Polaroid pictures, hiking, and a good steak. I like scuba diving, coffee, and reading.

I do not like spiders, and I cannot stand pickles.
