About Me

Architect currently working as a Real Estate Agent, I have a pretty flexible schedule and am always open to meeting chill, open-minded people. I love my city and showing it around so other people can love it too.

The most important thing I've learned from traveling is that having a great experience is more about the people you meet anywhere than the place you're at.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the same reason most of us are, travel is one of my passions, but not just going somewhere new and taking pictures, I like to get to know more about the people, their culture and their history, as well as sharing about mine.

I actually have surfed a few times but it was with a friend and we used her Couchsurfing account, it was a surprisingly good experience! The places we stayed for free were way better than airbnbs we paid for plus we got to meet really interesting and nice people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost any kind of music as long as it has either good rhythm I can dance to, or good lyrics I can sing to, if it has both even better!
In movies I prefer action, thriller and comedy genres.
I love history, my favorite type of book is anything from biographies, historical fiction novels, to even history textbooks (If you studied in the USA or Canada you probably had the same huge blue history one than me and you probably hated it, I loved it).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer a bunch of my and my sister's friends from when we were abroad (me at San Francisco and Detroit, my sister at Bordeaux,Fr) came to visit on different occasions. Since my sister was working and didn't have any vacation, I showed them around the city and took them to the nearby must-sees (such as La Huasteca jungle, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Tequila and Mexico City). I loved the experience of taking them to the places they wanted to see and also the ones I considered important for them to see, also explaining to them why those places are important for my culture and witnessing how they came to understand a little bit more about Mexico and it's people. Basically you could say I enjoy being a travel guide for free.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have pretty decent cooking/baking skills that I can teach or just share with you if you'd like, also I'm all about sharing stories and experiences, best way to make friends and get to know people, right?
And I'm open to learning almost literally anything.
