I am an American living and working in Germany for almost 3 years now. I love to read and write. I like listening to all kinds of music - from Schubert to Rod Stewart and even today's stuff, I like it all. I like to play tennis and run. I have a slight obsession with coffee and red wines and almost always find both in my daily life. I am an introvert who can be extroverted and perhaps more than I would like, I am an old soul.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I wish traveling wasn't so commercialized even though I understand why. I love the opportunity to meet people and to have genuine connections and conversations. I fully expect to drink a beer, a glass of wine, or a coffee with each person I meet. So hopefully you are open to this as well.
