Overview
About Me
I am an uncomplicated young woman. I love to travel and to see and explore the world. I love food, I love new cultures, and meeting new awesome people. I am more confident with collecting memories rather than things. My goal is to experience as much as possible and take advantage of new adventures whenever I can.
Right now I am studying OnlineMedia in the Black Forest of Germany and working besides that to be able to travel and do all the things that make me happy in my leisure time. I love my life and I am very happy that I was able to get to know people from all over the world. It gives you a broader view on the world and other cultures and gives you the feeling that there's so much more to experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of sleeping and staying at somebody's place for free and to get to know the hosts and their way of life.
It's very socializing and you learn so much more about people and cultures than you would do in a Hostel or Hotel. During sleeping on somebody's couch, you also get a different view about the city that you're in and get more involved by actually living there.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am addicted to Spotify, I always search for new music and I am open to basically every genre. There's no "favorite" because there's so much great music out there :-)
I don't really have a favorite book. I don't read that much, but right now I'm reading "Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail" by Cheryl Strayed.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 4 months in South Africa, doing an internship and 5 more months doing my semester abroad.
During the internship, I worked with other volunteers for a non-profit organization. We took pictures of dogs and cats in diverse animal shelters and helped them getting their animals adopted by posting the pictures on our website and writing descriptions about them.
I learned a lot about life in South Africa, the African culture and also got to know myself better during the 9 months I spent in the Rainbow Nation.
I love this country and would recommend it to everyone! It's the most beautiful country I've seen so far, but there are a lot more ahead!
Teach, Learn, Share
Love this one, but I'm not sure what people can learn from me, haha.
I love learning some new phrases of other languages and get to know other cultures and lifestyles.
