Hi I am Anne. I use to live in a small village near the historic lutheran town Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Germany. I am hardly thinking about what describes me best. To my mind there is nothing special to say. I am very familiar and love to hang out with my beloved family and my friends. Since 2003 I am spending my live with my soulmate Mario. I live with him for a long time and we have made lots of our experiences together, especially our vacations. He is five years older than me, an electrician and loves to ride his motorbike. Since October 2016 he is the proud father to my little sunshine baby. It is a totally new situation for me not to go to office, but I love every minute with her. For me traveling and exploring new places, people and religions is one of the best things life offers to us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling in some countries is quite expensive. Not every part in the world has "Asian" prices. So I read a lot about Couchsurfing in preparation of our 6 week vacation in New Zealand. There have been only positive recommendations. I am no longer traveling alone as backpacker, so I am a bit nervous if it can work. In Germany and Spain we often used AirBnB which is often very anonymous. We thought that it can be very helpful and nice to get in contact with locals as well. Therefore we decided to try Couchsurfing as one way to explore the world with minimal costs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to hear and dance to the music of "Chvrches". If there is a film with Jake Gyllenhaal - I have to see it. I don´t care if I have seen it once or twice before.

Books ... mhhh ... I am more interested in searching the www. Of course I have red some. If you want some thrilling moments, I can suggest all the Cupido-Books by Jilliane Hoffman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was snorkeling with 10 meter long Whale Sharks at the Ningaloo Reef in Australia. Amazing!
