Hi there! I’m Anne, a 35-year-old from France who’s called California home for the past 11 years. After going through a recent divorce, I decided to embrace a new chapter in life by selling everything I own and setting off on a solo journey with just my backpack. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I’m driven by a love for new experiences and meaningful connections.

My diverse background includes roles in sales, fashion, nannying, and business owner, but this year is all about exploring the world on my own terms. I’ve traveled through about 28 states in the U.S., spent two months living alone in NYC, volunteered at a dog shelter in Portugal, and am now wrapping up an incredible stay in Alaska where I was working at a hostel. I thrive on meeting new people, learning from different cultures, and finding adventure in the everyday. I’m also a big animal lover, and one of my most rewarding experiences was volunteering at a dog shelter in Portugal. Fashion is another of my passions, and I’ve spent years working in the industry, including running my own business as a fashion reseller. I enjoy the creativity and expression that fashion allows, and I’m always on the lookout for unique pieces. When I’m not on the move, I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring new cities, or just soaking in the beauty of nature. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last winter, I volunteered at a dog shelter in Portugal through Workaway. As someone who loves animals, this experience was incredibly rewarding and transformative. I spent my days caring for rescue dogs, many of whom had been through tough times. It was heartwarming to see their progress, knowing I was a part of their journey to a better life. The bond I formed with the dogs was so strong that leaving them was an emotional experience. This adventure not only deepened my love for animals but also showed me the impact that even small acts of kindness can have. It’s a memory that will stay with me forever.
