Hi! My name is Annelie. I'm Algerian/Finnish but I grew up in Sweden. I'm 20 years old and I'm currently working as an au pair (international babysitter) in New Jersey, USA. I decided to take some time off after High School to travel which is something I love to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my year as an au pair I get a travel month. During this month I can travel in the states before my visa expires. Couchsurfing seems like a way more fun and interesting option than a hotel or hostel.

Interests

I love hanging out with my friends, making smoothies, go to the gym, power walks in the sun, shopping, good food, going to the movies, cuddling, drinking wine, partying and I love spending time at the beach swimming and tanning when the weather allows it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That I was brave enough to leave everything and everyone I knew back home to move to the states all by myself and live with a family I never met before. Taking care of kids for a whole year.
