Hi, my name is Ansis Jānis Ozoliņš, and I am from Latvia, Jūrmala!
I come from a really polite and nice family with good manners and values. Currently, I am a student who likes to travel a lot and meet new people around the world. However, the traveling part currently is on a slight pause because I am pursuing my full-time bachelor studies at Riga Business School.
About myself:
I am very calm and polite yet super friendly and tidy; I know the boundaries and how to act while I am a guest and I have good table manners. According to the personality tests I am an extrovert. Also, I get along with everyone who I meet, and I really try not to get on other people's nerves. Also, I care a lot for other people, like to talk and I am a massive family person. In fact, I get along with my siblings really well(smaller brother and sister). I always try to be on time because I do not like that other people have to wait for me. But apart from that currently I study a lot and try to be perfect on what I do because I know that it will matter in the long term.

I also have been playing tennis for more than 13 years, golf for 4 years, and academic rowing 1 year.
But apart from sports, I have finished art school, so I enjoy paintings.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In general I would want to challenge me and meet more new people around the world than I know right now and just talk with them, make friends and share experiences.
But more specifically for the next trip I am looking for a place where to stay while I scout the Norwegian Business School (university) where I will be doing my third year of bachelors, and I also would love to meet some locals and talk with them because it is always fun to be around and talk with nice, smart and generous people.

Música, películas y libros

I lessen to all types of music, there is no favorite one because the music choice depends on the situation. I can lessen to classical music in one situation and to rap, pop, trap, jazz, rock and others in different situation.

I really like all the Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games, Narnia books. But I also have read George Orwell books such as 1984 and Animal Farm. I would need a long time to list all the books that I have read but I included some of them above.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Helped out my old school and hosted some guest lectures to the young minds talking about the importance of actions and how their current actions can affect their future in the university level, how can they benefit from participating in the student union while being in school and where to look for partners that would support their ideas, how to attract sponsors to different events that they are hosting and so on.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach how to play tennis but that would require a lot more time than 1 or 2 days :D I could learn anything. and about sharing I do not know it depends on what the host wants to know :))

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share my life story, stories of other countries, my trips, adventures and lots more. Also, talk with them about different cultures, hiking trips and other things and most likely not get bored.
Cook some meals if you want to. Watch the TV with you and just talk about the day and listen.

It all depends on the host :)
