My name is Antje from Germany and I am currently traveling with my husband Steffen (he is a forester) through Asia, as backpackers. We are both in our mid-end 50s and absolutely love traveling! We love to get introduced to new cultures and lifestyle, to meet like minded people and to try new kinds of food.
We are very open, polite, respectful, warm hearted and reliable, especially because our kids love to travel as well.
We have 2 sons (mid 30s) and 1 daughter (29). Our sons are business manager and studied psychologist. Our youngest daughter is a writer and as a digital nomad on her first trip around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because our youngest daughter inspired us to get Couchsurfing. She has met some very lovely people on CS.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many, but we especially appreciate little things and also the people, who helped us on our backpacking tours. Sometimes it's the quiet, little moment, which are most special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an experienced cook. At home I'm making my own sour dough bread, Kombucha and Kimchi. I'm always curious about the local food cuisine, but I can share my knowledge about German style cooking and baking. We are also interested in health food (one of our sons is working in the health sector and our daughter writes articles about health topics as well), like tea and health supplements.
