Overview
About Me
I just finished my B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. Currently working on my Masters and it one year that will also be done.
I'm currently in the middle of a 2 month Euro-trip to celebrate life and the freedom that comes along with unemployment! I'm staying in Germany with a long time family friend (my German sis)! I've already traveled to Paris last weekend and up next is Amsterdam. Shortly after we'll be taking a trip to Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Italy to finish it off.
I just had my first couch surfing experience in Paris and really loved it!
I'm a pretty easy tempered guy and I love one on one conversations; this is what I seek in life. I'm excited to meet new people and just have some coffee and/or a drink and talk about our lives and interests.
I'm a huge foodie. I seek good food in my life everywhere I go. Whether it be a fancy restaurant or a locally cooked multicultural meal, I'm always game for great food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and have decided after spending so many nights in hostels and hotels that it's much more interesting to spend the evening with locals and hear their stories. I also love getting personalized tours around cities by people that really know the best deals in town.
Currently not able to host because I don't have my own place back home. Once I get an apartment though I will certainly open up my doors :)
Interests
I LOVE hiking and exploring wilderness areas. In the U.S. I've been to Yosemite, Yellowstone, Red Wood Forest, Bristle Cone Pine forest, Joshua tree, the Sierras, and pretty much every other national park in my home state, California.
I also love to explore the outdoors on bikes.
Cooking is another hobby of mine. I'm a pescetarian (the only meat I eat is seafood) and crave creative meals that find new ways to incorporate vegetables.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm open to many different genres of music and I dislike pinning myself to specific types. I can say that the most important part of a song is the melody. If the melody pulls me in, I will be hooked.
My favorite Disney movie is Mulan. In general though I'm into action, adventure, comedy and the occasional rom-com ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How about two?
1) Learned to unicycle while juggling
2) Won the world championship in FIRST robotics in high school :P #nerd
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking! I'll make you homemade pesto if you show me were to get fresh basil. Or a homemade pizza, lasagna or really anything!
Countries I’ve Visited
