About Me
Edit: I am traveling to the UPenn for summer school.
Hello, I am a Ph.D. researcher currently living in the Canadian Rockies, with a passion for exploring the world and meeting new people. I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is by connecting with its people, and that's why I'm here on Couchsurfing!
I absolutely love outdoor adventures like hiking and biking. There's nothing like the feeling of exploring a new trail, breathing in the fresh air, and taking in the breathtaking views. When I'm not out in nature, you'll likely find me in the kitchen experimenting with different cuisines and trying out new recipes. Sharing a meal with fellow travelers is always a highlight of my journeys.
Apart from my love for the great outdoors and culinary adventures, I'm also a movie buff. I enjoy watching movies from different genres and countries, and I'm always up for a movie night with my Couchsurfing hosts or fellow travelers.
One of the things I cherish most about Couchsurfing is the opportunity to meet new people from all walks of life. I love learning about different cultures, hearing stories, and making new friends. I'm a great listener and love engaging in meaningful conversations with people from diverse backgrounds.
As a guest, I am respectful, tidy, and always mindful of my host's rules and preferences. I'm happy to share my own travel experiences and knowledge with my hosts, and I'm open to learning from them as well.
Overall, I'm an adventurous, friendly, and easy-going person who is excited to connect with like-minded travelers and make meaningful connections through Couchsurfing. Looking forward to meeting you and creating unforgettable memories together!

Teach, Learn, Share
With my love for cooking, I can whip up delicious meals in the kitchen and share some of my favorite recipes with my hosts. I'm always up for a culinary exchange, where we can cook together and exchange cooking tips and techniques. I'm open to trying out local cuisines and learning about traditional dishes from my hosts, and I'm happy to help out with meal preparations during my stay.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a social scientist, I have a deep understanding of different cultures and societies. I can share insights and perspectives on social and cultural dynamics from my academic knowledge and personal experiences. I'm always eager to learn about the local culture and traditions of the places I visit, and I'm happy to engage in meaningful conversations with my hosts to exchange ideas and knowledge.
As an avid traveler, I have plenty of travel stories and experiences to share. I can talk about my adventures, share recommendations on must-visit places, and provide tips on travel planning, budgeting, and packing. I'm also open to hearing about my host's travel experiences and getting local insights on hidden gems or off-the-beaten-path destinations.
As a movie buff, I can contribute to a cozy movie night at home. I can share my favorite movies and TV shows, and we can enjoy a movie together.
