ABOUT ME

Hate writing these things. 28 years old, guy from N.Ireland, really into travelling and meeting new people. Thinking of becoming a teacher so I could travel and get paid for it. Really easy going, always cheerful, very kind and respectable, big heart. 95% of the time I am smiling or laughing.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to plan for things in my life but life works differently, now I am older and maybe a little wiser I live for the day, I have no time to care what people think of me, I am me, I respect others even if they not respect me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted before from my housemates profile and we are available most times, just give us a weeks notice and we can clarify if we can let you stay. I plan on continuing this when I move back to England for university.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My housemate introduced it to me. We have had 3 people stay with us in Santander Cantabria so far this year. A guy cycling Europe from Italy. 2 students from Bilbao and Manchester. Been really fun meeting people in this way.

Interests

Travelling, meeting different people and exploring different cultures. I read a lot, especially to help me learn Spanish. I do like to play video games on occasion.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite film is Apocalypse Now. I love documentaries. Anything from John Pilger to Rageh Omaar about whats happening in our world. I love all types of music except country. I have been reading the warhammer 40k Horus Heresy books for the past 5 years and I like to read about other sci-fi stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun going down in Ibiza is a thing I will never forget. Jumped out of a plane.

I am studying Foreign Policy and the European Union, I read everything I can internationally. I am pretty up to date on most of what happens in my field most of the time.
