Hey there! My name is Arbër Avdija

I’m Albanian and Turkish, and I live in the Netherlands. I love to venture outside in the forests, and meet new people! Music and History are my two favourite subjects to talk about, but I can talk about anything really. I would love to see and know as much people as possible. Sadly I can’t host anyone since I live with my parents and sister in not a huge home, but in the future when I have my own place I would gladly accept guests!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people to form strong friendships with! And to become a more well-witted person. I wish to learn everything about our world and her people. I love learning new cultures, languages and ways of life.

With books and films I would always choose history and or fantasy. LOTR, The Last Kingdom, Vikings, Game of Thrones. I could go on and on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped in the wilderness of Kosovo! It was quite a rush when hearing howls of wolves from afar, and dont get me started on the bugs in our tent. I love camping outside, makes you connect with the Earth in another form.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love, and let live! Learn about others and teach them your ways, only then we can live in harmony with all mankind. I can also tell and teach about all of the skills my father has taught me that his father tought him and so on! And might I tell I have quite the hands for gardening and cooking, and am willing to help with anything around the house.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything, as long as it isnt anything that I wish to keep for myself. Stories, foods and recipes, culture, knowledge, anything will do. And of course gifts! For every place I stay I promise to bring at least one usefull gift. As also said before I can teach some skills like: How to make a bow and arrow, how to make tools from wood, and my biggest pride: How to make a fire :P
