I have stayed with couchsurfing hosts in my travels through Europe in 2011, on a road trip through the U.S. in 2013, and in South America 2015-2016. It’s been lovely every time! I often used co-travelers' accounts to connect with hosts, which is why I don't have many direct reviews.
