ABOUT ME

I'm curious, open-minded and organized. I feel like a world citizen. So, I love travelling. It's important for me to discover other cultures, other languages, other ways of life.

I live in a beautiful village, Villiers-sur-Suize, next to Chaumont (18km/ 30mn by car/ 1hr by bike), with my boyfriend, Yann, on his farm. We have few cows. In the village there is a pub restaurant and a grocery.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with CS was in December 2013 when I travelled for 3 months in Brazil. It was very good trip with kind people and amazing landscapes. CS is an amazing experience. I travel less than before because of my job so I love to host CS. It's another way to travel (at home! ;)

Intereses

I like having a drink with my friends, listening live music in small pubs.
I like dancing, playing volley-ball, climbing and watching women's rugby match.
I loved my studies about land-grabbing process in Ukraine and also water management in Burkina Faso. I'm passionate about farmer's profession.

Music : everything! Tracy Chapman, Agnès Jaoui, Ali Farka Toure, Ry cooder, Femi Kuti, Manu Chao, balkanic songs like La Caravane Passe, and espacially now brasilian and Cape Verde music.
Book : I like to read travelogue like Africa Trek of family Poussin or Dans la forêt de Sibérie of Sylvain Tesson.
Movie : I like watching movies but I have a really bad memory about movies!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I hitched-hicking in Amazon for 1 000 km.
I interviewed the "head of the land" in a village in Burkina Faso. He gave me a rooster in gift and accidentally I swated a baby hen. I have never been so embarrassed!
I scared a baby because of my white skin.
I travelled in the North-Thailand along the Mekong river by moto-cycle.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I like teaching, learning, sharing about people, language, travel, cooking, sport, games, ... And I can teach you to speak French, how do you analyse a landscape, how do you milk a cow and how do you know if a wine is good or not!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

At least a dinner because the French food is so good! It's my favorite moment :)
