My name is Arianna, at the beginning of the summer I will be 23 years old. I am a student of Chemical Engineering at the end of my three-year course, and in September I will attend the Master's course in English. In anticipation of this new beginning, I wish to strongly master this new language, to make it fluid and complete. I imagine my future, and for this reason I draw with determination and courage to study, as a Process Engineer, in the energy and sustainable field. The reflection that I have of me is that of a cheerful and extroverted person, I love being surrounded by people but at the same time I enjoy my cuts of solitude to know me over time. My altruism and my attention to helping others remain unchangeable. I try to improve myself every day, to look beyond the boundaries of my home, my ambitions and my habits, to know the diversity that lives beyond my door. I prefer reading and traveling, intended as a journey, because in arriving at a new place, we listen to the expectations we place in ourselves and learn to be really part of the world. I still have a lot to learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My registration is due to my desire to solidify the knowledge of the English language, which I will find in my course of masterly studies and in the sphere of work as soon as the latter is completed. My desire is to spend a month or at most two, August and September, in New York, find a job that allows me to support my stay and compensate for the need to dialogue to enrich my linguistic knowledge.

I have excellent knowledge of scientific subjects and an excellent knowledge of Italian with some teaching experience for middle and high school students. I lived alone for a while, so I am able to take care of and organize my home very carefully. One of my passions is cooking and experimenting with new courses. I like gardening and do-it-yourself.
