About Me
I am basically the lazy and the creative kind, the kind that absolutely hates filling up "about me" sections in websites, the kind that hates answering generic "so tell me about yourself?" questions in interviews, the kind that would write random bullshit just to find the right people to meet in any networking site. ( you need to read that last bit out loud, there is a predictable yet sweet wordplay using write/right.) Anyway, if I had to describe myself in a single sentence, I would say I am a character straight out of a Wes Anderson movie ( if you haven't heard of him, you don't know what you are missing.) Or maybe I am a bob dylan song, the one he discarded because he felt it was too "cheesy", the one that baez would sing and make it top the charts someday. Or maybe I am a Jackson Pollock doodle, the one every one shares on random art appreciation groups on facebook, but yet that one doodle that no one fucking understands and yet hates to accept it. Or maybe I am a Larkin poem, the one where he sounds a little happy for a change, but yet wears despair on his sleeve like a boss. Or maybe I am Charlie Chaplin's stick, the one that took him on a walk on roads no man had ever taken before. Yes, I will settle for that. To be a walking stick to the greatest artist to have walked on the face of this planet, is like winning every single motherfucking nobel prize for happiness. Oh wait, there isn't a nobel prize for happiness? Right. Goddammit. But at least you understand me now. :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am fascinated by people. I read people in my leisure time. And every time they fascinate me so much, that I talk to an imaginary Horatio inside my head, and tell him that there are many things in heaven and hell...you get my point, love!
Interests
Theatre. Ghosts. Defense against the dark arts. Pokemon. WWE. Hypnotism. (not necessarily in this order. and these were very randomly chosen. I am interested in almost every thing in the world that's even mildly interesting.)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a bass player and if there's one thing years of practising theatre and music has taught me, is that, you got to appreciate the goodness in every artist no matter how different their form is. I grew up with a healthy dose of rock n roll and heavy metal. but I would love a radiohead concert as much as I would love watching an obscure jazz ensemble that comes down from Austria, or a bunch of folk singers from Nigeria. As long as they sound honest and convinced enough, anything goes. I dig excellent songwriting, so I am also the kind that puts on Cohen, Suzanne Vega, Jaymay, Donovan, Alex Turner, Steven Wilson....(you know the list) on loop.
I am a pop culture freak when it comes to movies. I mean I have grown up with good old Scorcese, Woody Allen and Tarantino! And Wes Anderson! And the Coen Brothers! And David Fincher...And....you know the drill. I LOVE LOVE LOVE bollywood. But again, I have been blown over by a Tsai Ming Liang as well, and try to follow the best of world cinema whenever I can. I wouldn't mind watching Citizen Kane on any given of my life. I can never forget 8 1/2 and the feelings it evoked. I have always wanted my life to be a lot like Before Sunset. The last frame of 400 blows will stay with me forever. I still can't stop gushing about the Amelie soundtrack. I think it's high time they make another Daredevil movie. SO you realize how difficult I find this goddamned section, I love too many things for my own comfort :P
