About Me

Hola, Hello, Hallo! I am from Costa Rica but now I am living for a year in Berlin, Germany. I'm doing a volunteer social work, as an exchange with an organization called "Brot für Die Welt" or Bread for the World. I live with a wonderful host family, I received A1 and A2 German classes. I love to dance to tropical music as it is: Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, a little cumbia and electronics. During the last two years I have lived in the capital of my country, San José, for my studies, I study a career related to science, sport and health. I am a fan of some video games, the most I follow and I play "League of Legends" and "FIFA", I am a follower of good football and Dragon Ball Super I also like to practice some sports that I used to do more often, Basketball, Football , Swimming and I do not play very well but sometimes Volleyball. Fan of Real Madrid <3 But I do not deny that there are footballers and teams that appeal to me, for example Hertha Berlin, Arsenal of England and Sporting Lisbon of Portugal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like, I am interested in meeting new people and their customs, traditions, language, culture, form of expression in their languages and if we speak the same language (for example me Spanish) see the variations we have and things in common that I could share with they. Now that I have a time in Europe I would like to explore and know places that I never imagined in my life, today I am in Berlin and I did not expect it, I do not know what else destiny can bring, I just want to continue exploring. At the moment I can not host people (it's a real shame D: ..) Because I live in a host family, but when I return to my country, my apartment will always have field for adventurers from other parts of the world. Clear! As long as they are willing to share what they want with me. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I threw myself without lifeguards in a very dangerous rapids stream, I survived and I'm fine. :D Experience: Not recommended and wear your vests when going to lakes, rivers or the sea, dear friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts

Very important cultural exchanges for the host and the visitor, I can gladly teach you to practice some sport that I know and have practiced, also dance classes, to teach Spanish and to share pleasant time with a very "Pura Vida!" Person. That's my expectations.

"Pura Vida" Expression of very common use in Costa Rica that serves to say "Hello", "Goodbye", "What about" ... or even an adjective to define a person. Someone can be "Pura Vida" if he is a good person. Otegui, S. (2015)
