About Me

I'm a talkative person who likes to get out of his comfort zone. I can talk about anything and get along with pretty much anybody who is minimally open-minded. I'm very passionate about philosophy and sociology. Oh, and I love to eat!

I just finished my studies to be a game designer! The medium of video game is one that I find utterly fascinating as a piece of art. It's also a constantly growing industry and there is more to learn about it than most people think! So yeah, I'm very passionate about video games!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, live new experiences and try different cultures. Basically, I like to travel! But I would also like to host some strangers when I'll get back home!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm into rap/hip hop. But I appreciate classic music, jazz, 80s pop, soundtracks, latin, etc.

Books: The Hobbit, I Spit on your Graves, Harry Potter. I don't read much books to say the truth.

Movies: Lord of the Rings, V for Vendetta, Whiplash, OldBoy, Tarantino's movies, Nolan's movies and so many more! I am a die-hard movie lover. I'm always up for a new movie!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I made a one-legged friend in Dominican Republic. Awesome dude who is also a choreographer! Ah ah! He had some very great moves! But anyways, while in Puerto Plata, we watched a lot of traditional cockfights... It was bloody. Not really proud of it. But I think it was a very interesting cultural thing to see!

- I've been a counselor for childrens in a day camp near my hometown for 5 years; it was a student job. You learn a lot about yourself while being with the youngs. And having such smart, kind and creative persons as coworkers is a life-changing and extraordinary experience! Your job is literally to have fun with the childrens... litteraly! I feel nostalgia when I think about it.

- Survived 3 days in the Amazon jungle in Peru. Swam with piranhas in there. I'm still in one piece! :D

- Did an Erasmus in Belgium; never in my life have I drink this much beer... but I regret nothing! It was the beginning of so many great friendships with people from everywhere! Such an unforgettable experience!

- I don't know shit in German except "ich bin Eine Garnele" (not useful at all) but I rented a car anyway to go alone there to see a concert of Ennio Morricone ♡. It was one of the most exciting day in my life! Fun fact: I succeeded to have a speed ticket even though there's no speed limit there... go figure.

- Did some pretty nice video games while doing my studies in Montreal and in Belgium. It's my art and I'm proud of it!

- Got my whole body into a freezing cold lake in the Alps in Austria even though I'm a chilly person. (No, being Canadian doesn't make me someone who likes cold things nor am I necessarily comfortable in the cold.)

And there is more! I would say that I've experienced a lot of amazing stuff so far! I've been really lucky and privileged in this life. I think I could die right now as a satisfied human being!

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a big fan of Gordon Ramsay, I would say that I am now a very decent cook! I can even give some valuable tips!

I'm very skilled in French. If you want to learn some or practice, it would be a pleasure for me to help you!

I'm specialised in video games, more precisely in game/level design (rules, experience, AI) but also in the production and management aspects of making a game. I could talk about this stuff for hours.

Love to share some thoughts about philosophy, psychology and sociology!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I feel very confident in a kitchen; I think I'm a great cook. I like to cook Asian cuisine! I can also make some good vegetarian/vegan recipes!

I'm a versatile person; I can help with anything.

I'm naturally curious person and I consider myself as a good listener! So go ahead and talk to me!
