Overview
About Me
heads up - I've been inative for a few years so this is all out of date. But i enjoy seeing what I wrote back then so I'm keeping it for a bit longer :) I now live in Oakland Ca and am the director of an intergenerational leadership non-profit.
CURRENT MISSION
Find and connect people who are involved in alternative social change work! Mostly to learn about people everywhere, but I'm particularly excited about using myself as an boundary spanner between different radical communities.
ABOUT ME
I am traveling, work-trading, and organizing (in a broad sense) all over the darn place. If you are a human, there is a lot I want to learn from you! I got involved with organizing after years being a biology student, and everything changed. Now I want to do what I've informally been doing for years - visiting, studying, and getting involved with various ways people are fighting oppression and creating liberation! These are broad words with lots of meanings, so maybe we should just hang out and talk instead. But here are some details.
I facilitate dance and fermentation workshops a bunch.
I spend lots of time work-trading at homesteads, ecovillages, primitive skills gatherings, and various off-grid permaculture spot.
I teach garden education and want to learn more about experiential learning.
I wanna help you with your projects! Probably. But I'm super excited about community arts, urban agriculture, permaculture, making stuff happen.
I like parades.
