Originally from Brazil and currently on a sabbatical year after living abroad for 15 years 🇧🇷

I studied Political Science/International Relations in Los Angeles and Boston, lived and worked in New York City and Washington, DC, and travelled for work to Cameroon, Mozambique, and Panama. I enjoy going to museums and bookstores, connecting with people from different places, and learning about other cultures.

My most recent trips were to Central Europe in December 2025 and Argentina and Uruguay in April 2026. I brought back a pile of novels in French and Spanish from these countries to practice my language skills, and would love the opportunity to put them into practice with other travelers!

I'm looking forward to traveling to Japan for the first time this year and would welcome tips and recommendations.
