About Me

If you wanna follow my journey, here's my instagram.com/arturbruzos

I'm a 28 years old Brazilian guy who loves to travel. I'm from a paradise city in the coast of Brasil (so, you'll have a fine place to spend a time :) ).

Family usually says that i took too long time to start walking (when i was 2 years, maybe), But then, i never stopped...

I'm a graduated journalist, fan of sports.

I discovered the "traveling addiction" when i was 17. Then, i went to several places in Brazil, including Amazon, Northeast, deserts, big capitals, and more.

When i was 20, i did my first backpacking, through Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Uruguay).

Through my journey in Latin America, i've done already "couchsurfing"... i just didn't know this had already a name. Let's say i was too offline of social medias to consider that. I even tried to create a profile years ago, but i quit on the idea.

If i realize you just sent me a copy and paste text, or if you write my name with "h", the chances of you being ignored increase dramatically.

For more info, just ask me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why not?

Interests

I love other cultures. I usually say that i like to see both sides of the coin. Sure, it's great to see some luxury buildings,in big cities.

But knowing far away communities is waaay better.

Traveling is the best way to destroy myths, preconceptions.

And this is not a political speach only. If you're not a traveler, you can talk to someone who does. They will say this is truth.

You become less radical, less conservative, less reactionary... You become more human.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music. Rock, Eletronic, heavy and light songs. I'm very eclectic.

Meet Joe Black, Lord of War, Avatar, Matrix, A.I., and others.

I've to admit that i don't read that much, but i liked a lot of "The power of now".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Friends usually say that i have to right a book. So, you can figure it out how many stories i have (most, unfortunly, i just remember when they start to talk about the cases haha).

There were several, like when i met Machu Picchu, or a communitie in the midle of the heart of Brazil. It was really rewarding.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a blog with some texts of mine. There you can find political oppinions and even reports of my journey through Latin America.
