Overview
About Me
I started Couchsurfing back when I was living in Mexico City while studying at university. I’ve always had a traveler’s soul, and what I love most about this community is the cultural exchange it creates. I enjoy hearing travelers’ stories — how they move around the world, the experiences they’ve had, and the tips they’re willing to share. I’m always open to warnings, advice, and contact exchanges that might help me on a future journey of my own.
I’m part of this because I know what it feels like to be far from home, and if I were in that position, I’d love to be welcomed by someone who shares my interests — just like the people in this community.
I love studying languages, so it would be great if you could teach me a few words or expressions in your native language.
Right now, I live in a spacious "room" — that’s what we call it in Mexico, although it’s more like a full apartment. It has everything I need: a washing machine if you want to do laundry, my own bed plus an extra bed for guests. I don’t have a couch, but I do have a comfy dining area where I usually spend time.
Current Mission:
To be a good host and, in the future, as I travel around the world, be able to use this platform to connect with hosts who share the same vibe and mindset. Even if they don't have time to hang out, just offering a small space where I can lay down my sleeping bag would be more than perfect.
Philosophy.
The 4 Agreements:
Agreement 1: Be Impeccable With Your Word.
Agreement 2: Don't Take Anything Personally.
Agreement 3: Don't Make Assumptions.
Agreement 4: Always Do Your Best.
Best quote:
"To see the world, things dangerous to come to,
to see behind walls, draw closer,
to find each other and to feel.
That is the purpose of LIFE"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here because I truly understand the spirit of this traveler community — Couchsurfing is not free Airbnb. It’s about connection, cultural exchange, and building a sense of community wherever you go.
I know what it’s like to arrive in a new place and feel overwhelmed, alone, or unsure of how to get around. That’s why I want to be part of this — to offer a hand and someday receive one too.
I’m here to meet people who share the joy of traveling. As a future traveler myself, I want to learn about other cultures, try local food, explore cities on foot or by bike, and collect stories. Couchsurfing reminds me that even if I’m not traveling now, I’m already part of the journey.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy music from all genres, but I mostly listen to classic rock.
When it comes to books, I’m a big fan of authors like Alexandre Dumas, Jules Verne, and Gabriel García Márquez — Love in the Time of Cholera is my favorite. I’m also a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings saga, and I really enjoy the Sherlock Holmes novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 75 days cycling across Mexico, from the northern border in Tijuana, Baja California to the southeastern tip in Chetumal, Quintana Roo — an unforgettable journey full of landscapes, people, and stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing my passion for literature, films, and cycling. I can teach you how to get around the city and give you a personal guide to places that might interest you. I also enjoy introducing people to my culture — especially Oaxaca — its traditions, gastronomy, architecture, and festivals. I'm always happy to share insights about Mexico as a whole, too.
What I love most is learning from others: hearing about where they come from, how they manage to travel, and the amazing stories they carry with them. I’ve learned so much just by listening.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m someone who adapts easily, respects house rules, and keeps shared spaces clean.
I can share tips to help you explore Oaxaca like a local, making sure you don’t waste a single day of your visit.
I come from a mountain community where we speak Mixe, one of the many Indigenous languages of Oaxaca. I'd be happy to teach you a few phrases if you're interested.
Bruce Lee said: "Empty your mind, be amorphous, moldable, like water. If you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup, if you put water in a bottle it becomes the bottle, if you put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or it can crush. I know like water. My friend, running water never stagnates, so you have to keep on flowing".
