I'm originally from India, grew up all around the country and now study in the US. From 2015-17, I lived and studied at an international resident school that aims to make the world more peaceful and sustainable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Born Ruffians is my favorite band right now! I most like indie (rock/chill), rap, and hindi music (literally a whole other world).
Some artists on my mind right now are Caamp, Shakey Graves, J Cole, and Prateek Kuhad. I love talking music.

Kill Bill is one of my all-time favourite movies. I recently saw and enjoyed Pariah, a sweet, coming-of-age film about a Black teenager in Brooklyn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've jumped off the highest bungee spot in India, and spent ten days observing silence.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can whip up some quick and very tasty North-Indian desserts, recipes all perfected by my amazing mom. I also make a mean, flavorful cup of chai; very different from the sugar-trip most baristas in Portland serve. I can share my observations about people from almost every part of the world and have many stories to tell.
