About Me

I am a mother of a son (16) and a daughter (11). We live in an big old farm house in Satteins. We have a big garden and some animals also.
As a single mother I am very busy most of the time. But in my free time I like to enjoy nature and be with friends.
I like different cultures because I think it is very fascinating how different human being are, and still so similar as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

many music - many books - many films
maybe i will write some of them down once, or step by step...

I saw The Great Bertholinis at the Poolbar Festival 2008. they are really really great!

I just bought three new cds, all really wonderful, I only can recommend!
habanot nechama from israel
soap & skin from austria
and dear reader - replace why with funny

In the last years I changed from reading more to listening books and movies or series.
Right now I am watching The Wheel of Time and am listening to a book by Andreas Eschbach, Master of all things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being pregnant and giving birth to my kids. this was a very special experience for me! although it is one of the most natural things in the world!
And even more special is seeing them grow and find their own wonderful personality!

also the big journey to el salvador with my little son was a big, big experience! what a different life, and to learn everything, even the language together with my son! :)

and the first visit to our later house. we came with my parents and our two kids and we were walking through the empty rooms of this big and very old house. i loved it from the start although I knew that there will be a lot of work to do for us! but I like old houses!

Teach, Learn, Share

at our place we can of course teach you some german, and also spanish, but there is also the possibility to help in the garden, grab eggs from the chicken, stroke bunnies and the cat. and of course we will find a possibility to go for a walk together, visit the mountains or go swimming. or cook together, playing a nice game together. all the things we do we love to share with our guests!

What I Can Share with Hosts

we have a couch and a mattress to share in an own room.
but the house is old, and especially in winter it can be quite cold. of course we will heat your room! :-)

and please leave the room as clean (or dirty) as you find it! :-)
