We're an American couple from Ohio who have been living in Germany for three years. We moved over here as an adventure, an opportunity to travel more, and a chance to learn the German language.

We are both super nerdy about anything science fiction and fantasy, and we also love board games and card games. We love the outdoors, and try to hike as much as possible on weekends (Liechtenstein is our current favorite hiking destination). We like talking about politics (despite the current craziness) and (of course) travel. We love meeting new people who share our interests (or not) and hearing their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've used Couchsurfing a lot in the past as a way to meet people while travelling and learn more about the place. It's also so different from staying at a hotel or even a hostel because it helps you feel more at home as a visitor.
