ABOUT ME

I'm 23 and recently graduated. Right now I'm curious about the Middle East and have been studying arabic for the past two months in Egypt. I love reading anything and everything (just finished Anna Karenina and Brave New World), and spend way too much time day dreaming.

Interests

skiing is my passion- I coach an all girls freeride team, reading- I'm a big fan of american and russian and israeli lit, hiking- my backyards have included the white mountains of New Hampshire and the Wasatch front in Utah, learning to cook (not well yet), arabic, writing, and moments of solitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite night has been dancing in the sahara before sleeping under the stars with only my companions as far as we could see.

Waking up before sunrise in the valley of Southern Utah's desert slot canyon of swirling red rock and watching the sun seep in. It's called "The Wave."

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has a reason for acting the way that they do, you just have to find it. Once you find it use it to understand them, and treat them accordingly.

When looking at another culture don't judge them by the standards of your own culture, dig into theirs and hopefully you'll find that you can't judge it; instead, accept it.
