Over the years, I have learned that the best way to experience your surroundings is to play tour guide with a friend! Couchsurfing gives me an opportunity to do that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting/looking for hosts during my travels.

My experience with hosting/couch surfing is that I get to meet and make new friends along the way!

As a host, I get to meet people with interesting stories!

As a surfer, I get to experience the hospitality and kindness of others.

WHY I SHOULD PARTICIPATE ON COUCH-SURFING MORE OFTEN: On January 2017, I spent 3 weeks in Germany training for my job. Although I did spend a few nights hanging out with my colleagues, I found my weekends were the loneliest. It's definitely an empty/lonely feeling living out of a hotel room, eating dinners alone, and learned that site-seeing is more fun when shared with others.

Other than that, I'd like to meet people along the way, and hope I can help someone through their journey--whatever it may be!
