Overview
About Me
I consider myself to be effective, honest, straight forward, helpful, well-wishing, broad minded, philosophical and critical.
I live in a small and wonderful town in South-West Finland, between the city (Turku) and the archipelago sea.
Currently I am trying to make the first steps towards my life goal, which is a huge historical/cultural project mixed with sustainability.
History, nature and culture are crucial parts of my life, and my main hobbies are archery, target shooting, handcrafts and playing music. I am also good with visual arts and I cook well too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently looking for new experiences, leaving my comfort zone and giving a kick to my socialising.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to metal music (heavy, thrash, speed and power), but from the old school line (Running Wild, W.A.S.P., Warlock, Judas Priest etc.) I also like listening to authentic celtic folk music (Bran) and scottish pipes and drums bands (Albannach, Clann an Drumma, Clanadonia, etc.) Some neofolk can also come, like Wardruna, which is amongst my favorites nowadays.
I like those kind of movies the best which are deep, touching and have something to say (Fight Club, American History X, The Green Mile, etc.)
I like many kinds of books, from the scientific (about history, archeology, cultural anthropology), to the fantasies (novels or mythological collections).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When six years back I decided to leave everything behind and try something completely new, so came to Finland and built a whole new life.
But I also slept on a sinking boat, went to watch wild bears in the forest, drove tractor on the frozen sea, spontaneously ended up decorating a rave party, went on a mountain camping without any equipment in October and almost died a several times during the years :D
Teach, Learn, Share
This is totally up to the possibilities (place, time, equipment)
I am very opened to introduce people to my hobbies and teach them stuff I know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share experiences, point of view and knowledge.
I can talk a lot about folklore and history, telling stories, but also I am pretty opened to discuss anything if they want (Respect towards the other and their opinion is given and required)
If they wish I can also cook.
