Présentation
À propos de moi
よろしくお願いします!
Hello earthlings! Austin here, popping in on CouchSurfing with the intention of meeting incredible new people and sharing life while traveling. I believe that relationships are the most valuable thing in this world, more than any material thing. It is my profound joy to meet people from all walks of life as I travel our beloved planet.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I want to expand my thinking in every way possible. As Socrates taught us, the wisest in the room is the one who knows he doesn’t know that much. It would be my honor to learn from you, and I’d be deeply thankful for the opportunity to share your home and company.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I appreciate all music, other than repetitious pop—
but I love folk, folk rock, and hip-hop.
The Lord of the Rings is my favorite movie and book trilogy. I can quote it with you all day.
I can also quote Star Wars… too well!
I read non-fiction all the time, on various topics.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Spent a night atop Mt. Fuji and saw a beautiful sunrise

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
If you have a guitar (hopefully I have one with me), I can play you a song or two!
I’ve got a bachelor’s degree in biology, a master in teaching high school biology, and a master in cognitive science with an emphasis in philosophy and linguistics. I love to go deep into anything and everything academic and poetic.
I’m always ready to put down all the devices, have a meal, and listen to a good story. I believe stories shape the world more than anything else.
