Howdy! I’m a 23 yr old from Texas and I graduated from SFA in 2022 with a degree in elementary education (EC-6) with a minor in art. Currently a 1st grade teacher in Dillingham, AK and I also teach art to middle schoolers after school :) teaching art is definitely a passion of mine and I actually spent some time assisting in the art room during my student teaching.

I’m fresh out of college and been in the workforce for a year coming up, and I’d basically like to explore with as few expenses as possible and so am exploring my options on couch surfing as well as exploring work exchanges and all that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been to about 10 places in Alaska, and first came here solo at the age of 20 to travel with the Girl Scouts of Alaska for the summer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I lived in a dorm for about 3 years and I’ve had plenty of roommates, so I have a lot of experience respecting shared spaces and being clean in general. I never leave dishes in the sink (I usually do them immediately) and I’m definitely not one to commandeer a large space.
Granted this isn’t a work exchange site, but based on the situation, I would totally be willing to exchange work, childcare or chores for long term accommodation or anything else.
