ABOUT ME

I've been living a little all over the place and have landed myself in Geneva, NY just recently. I'm an entomologist working in agricultural research. From New Hampshire, lived all over Virginia for a while, in the central valley of California...which is kind of like living in all of California...and kind of like living in Mexico.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal identity has so radically shifted over the past few years. I guess the one thing that hasn't changed is my view of people...give someone enough time and you'll love them. Or at least some part of them, har har.

I've hosted many a traveler through non-couch surfer routes...bands coming through town whathaveyou...and a couple random folks through this website.

I don't play music but it happens to be my greatest interest, especially when traveling! Local scenes are the best way to get to know an area.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like funk! Ironically enough I like punk a lot too...just a couple years ago I emerged from a jam band malaise and punk rock is an much needed change...although there have been several cultural snafoos I've run into since joining this scene (e.g. hugging people too much)

I pretty much only read non-fiction. I'm a nerd!

All of my travel experiences have to do with the people I spend time with. Nothing works better to get you out of the dumps than to get recharged in a new place and a new outlook.
