Moved to Kagoshima to work for a few months from April ~ June 2024.
My friends are also asking me to host them, so I may able to host CSers, but it really depends.

I always believe :The world is not in your maps and books ……When you come back, you will not be the same.

💡Starting my new life in Japan without spending my parents’ money.
Passed the Japanese national exam and abstained the license.

As an Eastern Asian lady, my way to say ‘no’, could be very gently, like saying something relevant or unrelated, then run away from you. Or turning my face to the other side or pretending that I was not listening or busy with something else.

I usually don’t shout loudly at people to express my uncomfortable feelings and saying ‘no’ strongly to you, even though you have been giving me signs multiple times (my hosts etc). 😑😑

PS: Another difference between East and West people is the importance of smiling. Of course, Asians smile and rejoice at the same things as Europeans, but even when ignorant,
Shame, displeasure or even pain and sadness you can see them smiling.
