Overview
About Me
I am Eya! an exchange student in the US! I am vsiting America for one year only and hoping to make the best of it, and to discover as many places and states as I can!
I am anxious to finally start my independent travelling era, since I could not do that in my own country due to so many factors, one of them is that I am an engineering student who barely had time for herself.
Coming here is my chance to rediscover myself under different circumstances and different cultures, so far so good in South Dakota though!
I am super friendly, and I have been told several times that I am a good listener, which is not surprising to me since I've always been that friend who acts like a mother in our group haha!
I love food from different cultures and I can cook some of my Tunisian food too!
I love music and movies and everything that adds on to my thrill for enjoying this journey called life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here so I can travel around and meet interesting people.
I'm here to collect knowledge and experience, not to fear, not to seak something in particular, but only to Live!
Interests
I'm into colours that surround us and I try to capture that in the pictures I take, I'm into all tastes of music and cinema, while knowing that there's still a lot to discover! Obviously I am a photography enthusiast and I believe that Art can change lives.
Also, I just went through that phase where I am constantly pressured to find something I am good at, so my search has lead me to writing, and oh god what a sweet release to sit down and journal by the end of day.
Ps: I just got an article published in my campus newspaper!
Music, Movies, and Books
Anything, anywhere.
I love the fact that I have no particular taste as I thought I should, instead I am open to listen, read or watch anything!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organized a mental health event in my Tunisian university.
Teach, Learn, Share

This quote hit me so hard that I cannot think I'll ever forget it, constantly reminded by it.
