About Me

Hi! I love listening to stories, going to places as if there is no tomorrow, and always chasing sunsets. I am an opacarophile.

I host on case-basis, if it is convenient for the surfer and I. However, I can always show them around in my city and assist with information and anything else.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea of sharing culture and traveling together amazes me, an experience that cannot be felt by staying in hotels.

Back in 2019, I had amazing experience of couchsurfing in South Korea. As an exchange student in Seoul, I decided to solo travel to Busan, and found an amazing host who let me stay in his guesthouse for 5 days. Solo travelling in a foriegn country as a young women is daunting as it is, however, the hospitality and warmth recieved by hosts is something that changed my travel experience forever. I will carry this with me wherever I go. So, I want to give it back through this platform to my fellow travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is hard to decide. Currently, reading memoirs of people in conflict-ridden areas. And jamming to whatever music helps concentrate at work.

Art films/slice of life genres are my thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done so many crazy stuffs in my early 20s, such as getting lost in the woods after sunset, spraining my ankle while hiking, taking a random night bus to places I have never been, going on trips right before my final exams, going on very slippery waterfall trails and falling down (I don't know how to swim hahaha), and every sane decision I made in my life.

Edit (2024): I have crossed my mid-20s now. Life is so much busier now, but one thing that kept me the most occupied is bringing up a lot of puppies. I am a pet parent now, so travlling anywhere anytime isn’t in my books much these days. But I am trying.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you about my cultur and language. Can share stories of my work. Share the local unexplored places, foods and more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will help my host with cooking, cleaning, and any other works that is possible by me. I have amazing stories to tell if my host want to have a afternoon chat. If the host is busy, it is alright. As long as I get a place to sleep, I will not ask for any other facilities. Would love it if my host wants to show me around, but would definitely undetstand if the host is busy. I am a quite guest and will not make a mess in the house.
