About Me

Currently studying and working part-time. I enjoy being spontaneous, going new places and meeting new people. I like alternative music and going to concerts. I'm learning to play guitar. I'm hoping to buy a van and live on the road for a couple of years after I graduate. I'm currently living in Virginia while I finish my last semester towards my Bachelors degree. So if you're visiting the east coast, hit me up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love my job, mainly because I can work from anywhere as long as I have a good internet connection. So if I'm feeling the need to get out and travel and you have wifi, you'll likely catch me at your front door ;) But for realz, I'm on CouchSurfing to meet new people along my travels, get to know their hometown, maybe crash on their couch and hopefully they'll come visit me so I can repay the favor!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very broad but on average you'll likely catch me listening to some type of alternative jams. Unless it's summer time than I usually break out the country tunes or my new found favorite genre, reggae.

As for movies, I love about any kind. I have a fascination for movies made before of my time. There is something really beautiful about movies without color or sound. I have a love-hate relationship with scary movies but will always watch them in big groups. Just be prepared, I'll definitely scream or fall off my seat. I love 80's chick flicks, only 80's though, guess I'm stuck in the past. My go-to comfort movies are all movies from my childhood, silly right? I guess they just remind me of when I had no cares or stress. These include movies like Shrek, Ice Age, and Anastasia. I have a few others that are on VHS (yes I got a VHS player as a gag gift a while back so I get some use out of my old tapes. If anyone knows how to convert them to CD, let me know). Oh, I'm also a huge Lord of the Rings fan so if you ever need a marathon buddy, I'm your girl.

As far as books...I read a lot on Ted Bundy... maybe it's a phase, maybe it's an obsession but something about the psychology behind it all really intrigues me.
