Overview
About Me
I was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, moved to and finished highschool in Almaty, Kazakhstan, graduated from college in Dublin, Ireland and now work in Moscow, Russia.
I have a lot of hobbies and constantly pick up new ones:
- I play guitar and sing somewhat decent
- I dance salsa, cha-cha, bachata and kizomba
- I recently started snowboarding and loving it, would love to learn how to surf and skate
- I love sports in general, especially combat sports - I did judo, bjj, boxing, muay thai and mma
- I tried rock climbing recently and it was pretty fun
- On the other hand I'm very nerdy: read a lot of books, watch a lot of movies, play videogames, follow pop science

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to listen to exclusively rock and heavy metal, but that was a long time ago and now I listen to pretty much anything. A lot of electronic stuff, some rap and hip hop. Latino dance music ... and I'm always open for suggestions and debate.
Movies, I watch too many and have yet to see so much. The latest movies I watch were during my flight - Big Hero 6 was amazing, almost made me cry. Focus was rather bad. Whiplash was really, really good. Favourite movies of 2014: Birdman, Interstellar and Gone Girl, in that order. Just randomly gonna throw it out that The Matrix is one of my fav movies of all time.
Books: I wanted to get the Martian when I was in Amsterdam waiting for my flight to US, but couldn't find in any of the airport bookstores. I bought the Game of Thrones which I wanted to start reading for years. It's a slow start, because I don't have much time to read now, because I'm just exploring everything else in the US, but so far so good. Other than that, my fav author is probably Isaac Asimov. I always recommend these thee short stories to people who wanna try science fiction: The Last Question, The Egg and Flowers for Algernon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Right now I'm in the middle of this amazing thing: this US trip is pretty random and pretty crazy. Travelling alone for the first time. So far it's very good and I'm looking forward to it being life changing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play guitar, I can teach you how to box. I can teach something from the any of the two languages I speak.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything I've learned so far. Honestly, I'm like this walking bank of weird stories and random facts that range from our current understanding hot the Universe works to some celebrity gossip.
